Refund and Cancellation Policy

Read this before you pay, not after. It covers cancellations, transfers, refunds, payment plans, and what happens if we cancel.

1. Purpose

Bulletproof Automations provides live, cohort-based professional training and competency-based certification services.

These programs require instructor preparation, technology resources, administrative work, assessment development, and limited cohort capacity before a learner attends the first session.

When a learner reserves a seat, Bulletproof Automations may turn away another qualified applicant.

This Policy is intended to provide reasonable cancellation options while protecting Bulletproof Automations from losses caused by late cancellations, unused reserved capacity, abandoned payment arrangements, and services already delivered.

Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable law.

2. Review the policy before purchasing

Customers are responsible for reviewing this Refund and Cancellation Policy before completing a purchase.

The applicable price, program, payment schedule, and material refund terms will be disclosed before payment.

Clear disclosure is important because Florida law prohibits unfair or deceptive practices in trade or commerce.

3. Rights provided by applicable law

Certain transactions may carry cancellation rights under applicable federal, state, local, or international consumer laws.

The Florida Attorney General states that certain contracts for future services may carry a three-business-day cancellation right. Because the application of that rule depends on the nature and circumstances of the transaction, any mandatory statutory right that applies to a particular purchase will control over a conflicting provision of this Policy.

Bulletproof Automations will honor cancellation or refund rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

4. Cohort training cancellations

Except where applicable law provides a greater right, the following voluntary cancellation policy applies.

14 or more calendar days before the cohort begins

A learner who cancels at least 14 calendar days before the first scheduled cohort session may receive a refund of training fees paid, less:

  • payment-processing charges that are not returned to Bulletproof Automations
  • any non-recoverable third-party expense incurred specifically for that learner

Alternatively, the learner may request one transfer to a future equivalent cohort, subject to availability.

7 to 13 calendar days before the cohort begins

A learner cancelling between 7 and 13 calendar days before the first scheduled session may choose either:

  • a 75% refund of training fees paid, less unrecoverable transaction costs

or

one transfer of the amount paid to a future equivalent cohort, subject to availability.

A transferred enrollment may ordinarily be transferred only once.

Fewer than 7 calendar days before the cohort begins

After any applicable statutory cancellation period has expired, payments are generally non-refundable when cancellation occurs fewer than seven calendar days before the cohort begins.

Bulletproof Automations may, at its sole reasonable discretion, allow a transfer or partial credit in circumstances involving documented:

  • serious illness
  • family emergency
  • bereavement
  • military obligation; or

another comparable circumstance beyond the learner’s reasonable control.

A discretionary transfer or credit is not guaranteed and does not create a precedent for future requests.

5. After the cohort begins

Once the cohort has begun, training fees are generally non-refundable, except where:

  • required by applicable law
  • Bulletproof Automations cancels the program
  • Bulletproof Automations materially fails to provide the purchased program and does not provide a reasonable substitute; or

Bulletproof Automations expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

The following do not ordinarily create a right to a refund:

  • failure to attend
  • work conflicts
  • schedule changes by the learner
  • loss of interest
  • falling behind
  • failure to complete assignments
  • failure to meet attendance requirements
  • technical problems with the learner’s own equipment or internet connection
  • failure to complete required setup before the cohort begins; or

choosing voluntarily to withdraw after services have begun.

6. Setup clinics and pre-cohort services

Some Bulletproof Automations programs may begin providing benefits before the first formal class session.

These may include:

  • setup clinics
  • technical readiness reviews
  • community access
  • orientation
  • documentation
  • preparatory assignments
  • environment testing
  • course materials
  • instructor or support assistance

Those services are considered part of the purchased program.

The fact that the first formal class has not yet occurred does not necessarily mean that no services have been provided.

7. Missed sessions

Missing a scheduled session does not constitute cancellation by Bulletproof Automations and does not create a right to a refund.

Where recordings, notes, assignments, or catch-up materials are provided, they are offered as learner-support resources.

They do not guarantee that a missed live experience can be fully reproduced.

Attendance or participation requirements associated with:

  • program completion
  • progression
  • assessment eligibility; or

a certificate of completion

remain in effect unless Bulletproof Automations expressly grants an exception.

8. Payment plans

A payment plan is a method of paying the total program price over time.

It is not a weekly or monthly subscription and does not convert the program into separately purchased sessions.

For programs offering installments:

  • the published program fee remains the total amount due
  • installments must be paid according to the agreed schedule
  • access may be suspended when a payment becomes overdue
  • all required training fees must be paid before program completion is recognized
  • all required certification-assessment fees must be paid before the candidate may begin the applicable assessment

Withdrawal or non-attendance does not automatically cancel amounts that became due before a valid cancellation.

Bulletproof Automations reserves the right to decline future installment arrangements for learners with unpaid balances.

9. Certification is separate from training

The Bulletproof Certified Automation Builder and any other professional certification offered by Bulletproof Automations are separate from training participation.

Payment for:

  • a training cohort
  • an assessment
  • a bundle; or

a retake

does not purchase or guarantee certification.

Certification is awarded only when the candidate satisfies the published competency standard.

Completing training does not entitle a learner to a passing certification result.

10. BCAB certification assessment cancellations

Before an assessment appointment is scheduled

Where an assessment fee has been paid but no substantive assessment service has begun and no live assessment appointment has been scheduled, a candidate may request cancellation subject to this Policy and applicable law.

Rescheduling a confirmed assessment

A candidate should provide at least 72 hours’ notice to reschedule a live assessment appointment.

With at least 72 hours’ notice, Bulletproof Automations will ordinarily permit one rescheduling without an additional scheduling fee.

With fewer than 72 hours’ notice, Bulletproof Automations may:

  • charge a rescheduling fee
  • require purchase of a new assessment appointment; or

treat the scheduled component as used,

unless Bulletproof Automations determines that exceptional circumstances justify an accommodation.

Failure to appear

A candidate who fails to attend a scheduled live assessment without sufficient notice may forfeit that assessment appointment.

Once an assessment begins

Once any substantive certification-assessment component has been:

  • opened
  • started
  • submitted
  • administered; or

delivered,

the assessment fee is non-refundable except where required by law or where a material failure attributable to Bulletproof Automations prevents completion.

11. Assessment results are not refundable events

The following outcomes do not create a right to a refund:

  • Assessment Not Yet Passed
  • Remediation Required
  • failing to achieve a required component minimum
  • failing to achieve the overall passing score
  • revocation or withholding of a credential because of assessment misconduct; or

disagreement with an assessment outcome where the published appeals process remains available.

The fee purchases a fair assessment attempt against the published standard.

It does not purchase a particular result.

12. Bundled training and assessment purchases

Where training and a certification assessment are sold together at a discounted bundle price, the training and assessment remain separate services.

For example, where the offer identifies:

  • Intermediate Cohort Training
  • BCAB Certification Assessment
  • a bundle discount,

each component retains an allocated value for purposes of calculating an approved refund.

If part of the bundle has already been delivered, any approved refund may be reduced by:

  • the value of services already provided
  • the reversal of any conditional bundle discount
  • unrecoverable processing fees
  • other non-refundable amounts disclosed at purchase

Completion or substantial use of the training portion does not entitle the learner to a refund of the entire bundle merely because the learner later decides not to sit the certification assessment.

13. Readiness assessments

A readiness assessment or review is a separate advisory service.

Its purpose is to help an experienced practitioner determine whether attempting a professional certification assessment is reasonable.

Once the readiness assessment has been performed, its fee is non-refundable.

Where the published offer states that a readiness-assessment fee will be credited toward a later certification assessment, that credit applies only according to the published terms.

A readiness assessment does not guarantee eligibility, certification, or a passing result.

14. Retakes

A certification retake is a new assessment service.

It may require:

  • a new practical scenario
  • a different troubleshooting workflow
  • additional assessor time
  • new scoring records
  • additional administration

Once a retake has begun, its fee is non-refundable except where required by law.

If Bulletproof Automations determines that an assessment must be repeated solely because of a material technical or administrative failure attributable to Bulletproof Automations, the candidate will not be charged for the replacement attempt.

15. Cancellation by Bulletproof Automations

If Bulletproof Automations cancels an entire paid cohort before it begins and does not provide an acceptable rescheduled equivalent, learners will be offered:

a full refund of program fees paid; or

transfer to a future equivalent cohort.

If Bulletproof Automations must reschedule a single class because of:

  • instructor illness
  • emergency
  • service outage
  • connectivity problem; or

another reasonable operational issue,

Bulletproof Automations may reschedule the class rather than refund the entire program.

A reasonable substitute session, rescheduled session, or equivalent delivery will ordinarily satisfy the affected program obligation.

If Bulletproof Automations is unable to deliver a material portion of the purchased program and cannot reasonably replace it, an appropriate partial or full refund will be offered.

16. Removal from a program

Bulletproof Automations may suspend or remove a participant for serious misconduct, including:

  • harassment
  • threats
  • abusive or discriminatory conduct
  • deliberate disruption
  • unauthorized credential sharing
  • attempts to compromise training or assessment systems
  • plagiarism or misrepresentation of assessment work
  • fraudulent activity
  • misuse of another participant’s information
  • intentional disclosure of protected assessment content; or

repeated serious violations of published program rules.

Where a participant is removed because of their own misconduct, fees already paid are generally non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.

Removal from training does not automatically erase legitimate outstanding payment obligations for services already provided.

17. Technical requirements

Learners are responsible for meeting published technical prerequisites.

These may include:

  • suitable computer access
  • reliable internet connectivity
  • supported software
  • required accounts
  • completion of setup tasks
  • a working n8n environment or other required training environment

Failure to satisfy clearly disclosed prerequisites does not ordinarily create a right to a refund.

Where practical, Bulletproof Automations may provide setup guidance, but the learner remains responsible for maintaining their own equipment and connectivity.

18. How to request a cancellation, transfer, or refund

Requests should be submitted in writing to:

Bulletproof Automations

Florida, United States

Email: training@bulletproofautomations.com

Please include:

  • your full name
  • email address used at enrollment
  • program or assessment purchased
  • transaction reference if available
  • the action you are requesting
  • the reason for your request
  • any documentation relevant to an exceptional-circumstances request

The date Bulletproof Automations receives the request will normally be used to determine the applicable cancellation period.

19. Refund method and processing

Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned through the original payment method where reasonably possible.

Processing time may depend on the payment processor, financial institution, card network, mobile-money operator, or other payment provider.

Bulletproof Automations is not responsible for delays caused solely by a third-party financial institution after we have properly initiated an approved refund.

20. Chargebacks and payment disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact Bulletproof Automations before initiating a payment dispute so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

Nothing in this Policy restricts a customer’s lawful right to dispute an unauthorized, fraudulent, or improperly processed charge.

However, initiating a chargeback does not create refund rights beyond those provided by law or this Policy.

Bulletproof Automations reserves the right to provide payment processors with enrollment records, transaction records, attendance records, policy acknowledgments, communications, and other relevant documentation when responding to a legitimate payment dispute.

21. Governing law

Except where mandatory consumer-protection law requires otherwise, this Refund and Cancellation Policy and purchases made from Bulletproof Automations are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

To the extent permitted by law, legal proceedings arising from this Policy or a covered purchase shall be brought in a state or federal court having appropriate jurisdiction in Florida.

Customers residing outside Florida may have mandatory legal rights that cannot be waived by contract. Nothing in this Policy is intended to eliminate those rights.

22. Changes to this Policy

The Refund and Cancellation Policy applicable to a purchase is the version presented or made reasonably available at the time of that purchase, unless:

applicable law requires a different result; or

Bulletproof Automations later adopts a change more favorable to the customer.

We may revise this Policy for future purchases.
